  1. Hello Essex Community Players,

M daughter would like to audition for the part of the little girl (she’s 8) for your upcoming Dracula production, but she’s going to to visiting her grandparents during your auditions. Do you have any alternate time she could come in? She’s in Baltimore from July 29th – August 12th. She is still new to acting, but is excited to learn more and get further involved. She started spending quite a bit of time at Very Merry’s drop-in days. Then she got on the stage as the owl in Harry Potter, she was an orphan in Annie with Very Merry, and then joined one of the Flynn’s children’s classes as a reference book in a sketch. We both understand if you are looking for a child with more experience and/or if you can’t accommodate an audition outside of your planned session, but we thought we would ask :)

    Thank you,

    • Greetings!

Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to your daughter’s interest in our upcoming production. I have forwarded your question to the Director as she is the best person to address your concerns.

      Thank You,
Don MacKechnie for Essex Community Players

    • Hello Juliana,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Your daughter sounds like a future thespian in the making! As far as alternate auditions dates, I am not sure that would be possible. However, if I don’t find what I need during the regular auditions, would you be willing to meet on 8/13? I could contact you on 8/5 to let you know, one way or the other. Let me know if this might work out. I would love to meet her.
      Cheri Gagnon

  2. Hi,

Is it possible to get a copy of the script before the audition? Thanks.

    • Hello Lisa,
Let me contact my production team to see if we can place a copy at the Essex Town library.
      Thanks for your interest.
